Is it accurate
Up to ±0.18 °F (±0.1 °C) in body mode, ±0.9 °F (±0.5 °C) in object mode. Each reading distils 1,024 samples into one result. Every unit is individually calibrated across the fever range and tested before it ships, not batch sampled. SGS tested to ISO 80601-2-56.
Compatibility
iPhone: iPhone 15 series and newer, iOS 17 or later. Lightning iPhones are not supported.
Android: any phone with a USB-C port, Android 7.0 or later.
Phone cases: almost all work as they are. If an unusually thick or rugged case keeps the connector from reaching the port, slip the case off for the scan.

Every TempBuddy is individually calibrated across the fever range and tested before it leaves the line, not batch sampled. Because a thermometer that is almost right is worse than no thermometer at all.

Will it work with my phone?
The Android + iPhone version works with iPhone 15 and newer (iOS 17 or later) and with any Android phone with a USB-C port (Android 7.0 or later). The Android Only version works with Android phones with a USB-C port. Older iPhones with a Lightning port are not supported.
Will it fit through my phone case?
Almost every case works without any change. Only in rare cases, with an unusually thick or rugged case, can the port sit too recessed. Slipping the case off for the scan solves it.
Will it drain or damage my phone?
No. It draws 5V at 7mA, roughly a thousandth of what charging your phone draws. On iOS it is an Apple MFi certified accessory, which means it has passed Apple's own electrical and safety testing.

Where is my family's health data stored?
