Thank you for choosing TempBuddy by Zanis Tech Inc. We stand behind the quality of our product and offer the following warranty coverage.

1. Warranty Coverage

TempBuddy is covered by a one-year limited warranty, starting from the date of delivery to the original purchaser. This warranty protects against any defects in materials or workmanship under normal use and conditions.

This warranty is only valid for the first retail purchaser of the product and is non-transferable.

2. What Is Covered

  • Defects in the product’s internal components or construction caused by faulty materials or manufacturing errors.
  • Malfunctions under normal usage, as intended in the user manual.

3. What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage to the body, USB port, or internal structure caused by misuse, accident, abuse, drops, neglect, modification, or unauthorized repairs.
  • Cosmetic damage (e.g., scratches, dents) that does not affect performance.
  • Normal wear and tear due to regular usage.
  • Damage caused by use with incompatible accessories, cables, or software.
  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of use or data—even if the device is found to be defective.

4. How to Submit a Warranty Claim

To submit a warranty claim, please contact us directly at info@zanis.io or reach out to the original retailer with the following information:

  • A photo or scan of the original purchase receipt showing the date and place of purchase.
  • A photo of the serial number (found on the product packaging).
  • Clear photos of the product and/or packaging showing the issue or defect.
  • A brief written explanation of the problem or defect.

After verifying your claim, we will provide instructions for return, repair, or replacement at our discretion.

5. Limitation of Liability

This warranty is limited to the replacement or repair of the TempBuddy device. Zanis Tech Inc. shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect damages, injuries, or losses resulting from the use or misuse of the product—including health-related decisions based on temperature readings.

Always consult a medical professional before making any decisions based on temperature or health data.

6. Jurisdiction

This warranty is governed by the laws of Canada, and may be subject to additional rights or limitations based on your local jurisdiction.
